Raju Emmiganur is student of Pandit Puttaraj Gawai, he is a multi-talented Hindustani vocalist, Indian musician, singer, lyricist, and music director, Member of Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya academy, Former lecturer in Hamsalekha Desi College and Zee Kannada SaReGaMaPa jury member known for his work in Kannada music, particularly devotional (Bhakti Geete) and folk (Tatva Geete) songs. and also teaching vocal music in Bangalore.

He has contributed to Kannada cinema and devotional music, with notable works like 'Puttaraja Guruve Ido Nanna Namana' and 'Raitana Negilu Tirugidare'. He blends traditional and contemporary styles in his compositions. His song 'Lokada Cheluvu Bhavageete' showcases his deep connection to Kannada bhavageete (emotive poetry) traditions. With a growing following on social media, he continues to influence regional music through creativity and cultural authenticity.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Karnataka University, Dharwad.
